Junior Robotics Engineer | Embedded Systems | VLSI | DSP | Photonics | IoT & AI Enthusiast
Hello! I’m Prakash Das, a passionate engineer with a BTech in ECE from North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong. Currently working as a Junior Robotics Engineer at Symbica Pvt Ltd, where I develop control systems for bionic prosthetic hands. I have strong expertise in Embedded Systems, Digital Signal Processing, VLSI, Silicon Photonics, and IoT & AI applications. My work bridges hardware and software, with hands-on experience in Arduino, Raspberry Pi, STM32, FPGA design, DSP algorithms, and sensor interfacing.
Worked on advanced control algorithms and signal processing using IMUs to improve gesture recognition and hand movement.
Designed and maintained PID-based control flow for a lung simulator using bellow displacement feedback.
Implemented dual SFM3000 flow sensors (I2C with PCA9546A mux) and encoder-based actuator for accurate fluid displacement control.
Performed DSP and feature extraction on 2175 Hz PPG signals in MATLAB for non-invasive blood glucose estimation.
Implemented FIR low-pass filters using convolution techniques at 10 kHz sampling frequency for real-time DSP learning.
Designed and simulated higher-order filters for photonic integrated circuits; presented at IIT Guwahati’s Research and Industrial Conclave.
Joined as Junior Robotics Engineer in 2025, contributing to bionic prosthetic hand development.
Selected for poster presentation on “7th order Chebyshev Filter for Photonic Integrated Circuits” at the Research and Industrial Conclave, IIT Guwahati.
Completed intensive training at IIT Guwahati on IoT, Edge AI, Arduino, NodeMCU, and Raspberry Pi applications.
